Born in Genoa in 1962, he earned a Degree in Economics at the University of Genoa in 1988. He has held many important positions in the Administration and Control areas for two Italian Chemical Groups listed on the Stock Exchange.
He enriched his range of expertise thanks to an in-depth experience in business planning and budgeting within a leading Italian Bank Group.
In 2004, he joined IVM Group in which he has held the positions of Administration, Finance and Control Director, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Ilva Polimeri and a Representative for the other Italian Group Companies. Since November 2007 untill December 2019, he covered the role of Executive Board Member for IVM Chemicals Srl Administration, Finance and Control Area.
Currently, Simone Grillo is Chief Administration Finance and Control Officer and member of the Board of Directors of the Group Companies.
In addition, he is President of Milesi Vernis SA.
