The strong  sensitivity toward environmental issues, ecology and human health reflects  in the corporate policies aimed at ensuring safety and protection standards higher than thoseimposed by the stricter standards, and total control in the formulation of products. IVM Chemicals has always been committed to developing their business with constant attention to improvements in safety, health and protection of the environment,and the reduction of the environmental impact of  processes, products and services.

Since 2012, IVM Chemicals has obtained the Ecolabel (Regulation (EC) no 1980/2000), the European eco-quality label rewarding  the best products and services from an environmental point of view.

This certification process controls, through independent bodies, the main environmental impacts (for example in terms of air and water quality, soil protection, waste reduction, energy saving and environmental safety) of each product during its life cycle, from raw material production to the disposal of empty packaging, in accordance with procedures stated in ISO 14040.

Ecolabel entrusts ISPRA (Established for prevention and environmental research) with  technical verification and laboratory tests.

In the context of coating products, entrusting ISPRA (Established for prevention and environmental research) with technical verification and laboratory tests, guarantees the following important features:

• Performance for internal use with reference to the requirements of EN ISO regulatory system.
• Respect for the environment through the use of non-hazardous substances.
• Minimum content of solvents to get the lowest indoor and outdoor emissions
• Care and conservation of products used
• Management of waste products in order to avoid water pollution.

All paints and complementary water-borne products for interior furnishings and parquet flooring of Milesi Brico line have the certification Ecolabel, the European label of ecological quality.
