IVM is a Holding Company with shares in Companies producing paints, resins and elastomers.

In wood coatings IVM Group is among the world’s main manufacturers and the largest in Italy:
• It directly controls and manages some among the most important Companies in Europe, with historical brands such as Milesi,
Ilva and Croma Lacke
• IVM Group commercializes its products all over the World through specialized dealers. Today it is present in more than 70
Countries.

Its paints can satisfy both the production of large automated facilities and that of accomplished craftsmen in the field of wood, house building, shipbuilding, or art.

Its Companies are organized according to a widespread, highly qualified Distribution and Technical Service network, to grant its Customers an all-encompassing service, offering also a critical support in the definition of the most adequate solutions in compliance with the specific and different demands of design, support finishing and of the specific production cycles.

Under the brandname Intercoating it produces resins for the manufacturing of coating products and elastomers for synthetic leather.

History


The Company origins go back to 1950. IVM was established in 1970 by the brothers in law Adriano Teso and Massimo Milesi with the aim of developing activities in the chemical sector and rationalizing the Shareholding.

They then established and developed Milesi Vernis in France, Industrias Quimicas in Spain, and Milesi Hellas in Greece.
Later on they bought Ilva Polimeri, a Company with a prestigious trademark in the field of paints and polyurethane elastomers, and the German Croma Lacke, one of the oldest European Companies, specialized in paints for wood.
In 1989 Federica Teso joined the Group. From 2002 she has been Vice president, Executive Director and sole shareholder.

In 2001, IVM realized and started up in the province of Pavia, on an area of approximately 15 hectares, the biggest, state-of-the-art and the most profitable production facility in the world for the manufacturing of wood coatings. Here, the production processes are certified and ensure quality, constancy and costs which can hardly be matched.

In 2007 IVM Chemicals was established in Poland.
The solid family ownership, which has always ruled out a family-type management, allowed the training of a qualified autonomous and reliable Management, able to plan and develop medium-long term strategies, working harmoniously and with perseverance.

This allowed IVM to become today one of the most important Groups in this sector, in Europe and Worldwide.


Because of the dimensions and the technological level reached, the number of releases about IVM Group is particularly important: in all activities in wood painting or in the sectors developed by the Group there are gratifying and authoritative mentions to the Group Companies. Operative structure

Chairmanship and Operative Committee
Plans the Development of the Group and takes part in the definition and management of the Strategies of the Group's
companies.

Administration, Finance and Auditing Management
Examines the results of the various Companies in the Group, co-ordinating the planning of the activities and the administration
of the Group's financial resources.
Human Resources Management
Identifies and selects the management personnel for the Group, assisting with evaluation and training procedures and
determining salaries.
